About Saturday Pizzas
In 2007 Philip Dennhardt, saw a gap in the frozen pizza market. The freezer isles were saturated with low quality pizzas. All competing to have the lowest price, rather than the nicest flavour. He set about creating a company that produced high quality, restaurant standard, frozen pizzas. Which customers, could enjoy in the comfort of their own homes. Pizza is a popular comfort food that is enjoyed in homes, at least once a week. Through market research Philip discovered that most pizza is bought in preparation for the weekend – thus Saturday Pizzas was born.
Saturday Pizzas is now a well established, award winning frozen pizza producer, based in Little Island Co. Cork. We believe that you shouldn’t have to compromise between quality and convenience when it comes to pizza. Our range of “fresh-but-frozen” pizzas is made with natural ingredients with no added flavourings, preservatives or additives.
At Saturday Pizzas our products are made by real people, not machines. A vast difference between us and other manufacturers.
We hand-stretch our delicious dough and add fresh toppings, before firing up the pizzas in a rotating gas and wood oven. The pizzas are then flash frozen and packaged to lock in their authentic taste.
